Become a youth and program sponsor.
Be a part of a culture that strongly invests into its youths’ burning bright future!
Here’s a little of why we do what we do at Journee’s Unlimited Inc., Home of Storm Cheerleading
Did you know that female high school athletes are:
92% less likely to get involved with drugs?
80% less likely to get pregnant as a teen?
3x’s more likely to graduate than non-athletes?
Participation in sports and extracurricular activities are proven to help youth become better contributors to society. Research also shows that a child’s involvement in sports helps them to enhance their social interaction, increase their confidence, and improve their listening skills and overall health.
Participation in sport is closely linked to higher grades, lower dropout rates, reduced truancy and lower crime rates among youth and teens.
These facts serve as a clear roadmap to success, and they provide us with a glimpse into the well-manifested future in which our youth can add to the below statistics:
95% of Fortune 500 executives participated in high school athletics
96% of dropouts in 14 school districts in seven regions of the nation were not participating in an athletic program
At S.T.O.R.M, we pride ourselves on providing a safe space for youth no matter their background or socioeconomic status.
While we offer one the most affordable competitive cheer and tumble programs in the Tucker area, we still find avenues to provide scholarships and/or sponsorships to a little over 30 % of our families.
We love to partner with individuals, angel sponsors, and organizations who share our mission of giving back and creating an atmosphere of total inclusivity for those youth who dare to charge towards their dreams NOW.
Read the stories of our girls below and provide them with an opportunity of a lifetime through sponsoring a portion OR all of their cheer tuition for the upcoming season. We also need assistance and support with purchasing new safety equipment and uniforms as we represent for the culture!
We thank you in advance for your generosity and willingness to “pay-it-forward” on behalf of our girls and their families.
Shantrelle has been a part of our program for two years, and she is an absolute joy to coach and train. Shantrelle shows great leadership ability both on and off the mats, and she desires to blaze into her third year of tumbling with her eyes set on leveling up, even more, in her skill set.
Her mom was recently and unexpectedly laid off, to which used the “setback” as a push forward into starting her new trucking and logistics business. As with all new businesses, it takes resources, additional finances and sacrifices. Simply put, Shantrelle’s mom can use a little extra support to ensure her daughter’s future isn’t left in the shadows of her building her own. Youth and teens need a positive environment where they can cultivate healthy relationships, attitudes, and life skills that quickly advance them towards greatness. We’ve happily accepted the lovely Shantrelle back into the program with the hopes of finding a cheerful sponsor who is dedicated to keeping the doors of opportunity open for our girls.
