Shantrelle has been a part of our program for two years, and she is an absolute joy to coach and train. Shantrelle shows great leadership ability both on and off the mats, and she desires to blaze into her third year of tumbling with her eyes set on leveling up, even more, in her skill set.

Her mom was recently and unexpectedly laid off, to which used the “setback” as a push forward into starting her new trucking and logistics business. As with all new businesses, it takes resources, additional finances and sacrifices. Simply put, Shantrelle’s mom can use a little extra support to ensure her daughter’s future isn’t left in the shadows of her building her own. Youth and teens need a positive environment where they can cultivate healthy relationships, attitudes, and life skills that quickly advance them towards greatness. We’ve happily accepted the lovely Shantrelle back into the program with the hopes of finding a cheerful sponsor who is dedicated to keeping the doors of opportunity open for our girls.

Reyah is a third year S.T.O.R.M Cheer member and the youngest in the program starting at just 3 years old! She is now 6, and is graciously eager to learn new cheer/performance skills alongside her bright and enthusiastic peers.

Reyah is the youngest of three siblings. She has never met her father, as he was incarcerated when she was just 3 months old. Her mom is the true definition of single, yet, empowered. With an older daughter also enrolled in the cheer program, paying tuition for two–twice per month--has become quite difficult. Reyah needs a sponsor for her tumbling class training and for her competitive cheer tuition. Otherwise, Mom has decided that both girls will have to miss this season of cheer–and we absolutely don’t want that!

Chalana is a ten year old bubbly, yet surprisingly quiet, young lady. She is the youngest of two (her older brother is 17 years old). Chalana’s mom has been overly dedicated to having Chalana at practices on time–every time–throughout the cheer season. This year Mom is having some financial difficulties after experiencing a change in her job–a direct causation, like many others, from the effects of the pandemic. Mom has informed us that she simply can not afford tuition this year.

At S.T.O.R.M, we never turn any youth away because of financial hardship, so we’ve accepted Chalana into the program in hopes that we can find her an amazing sponsor. Her cheer bestie, friends and team would be heartbroken if she could not participate this season, so please consider sponsoring Chalana’s tumbling OR cheer tuition.

Cariyah is a joy to have in our program! WIth 5 siblings (her mother and father just welcomed a beautiful set of twin girls), she comes from a tight-knit growing family. With mom now tending to the new little ones–as a stay-at-home mom–dad’s income has become the sole provision for a house of seven. We have been able to secure a sponsor for Cariyah’s tumbling tuition until mom can return to work, however, right now, Cariyah is in need of a sponsor for the cheer season. The two go hand-in-hand!

Khloe is one of our newest S.T.O.R.M cheer youth, and we are ecstatic to have her join our family. We are also honored that we get to serve as her first experience with participating in an organized sport. Khloe is being lovingly raised by her single father who recently had his hours cut at work. Still, he maintains an excited and supportive energy when it comes to being a cheer dad like we’ve never seen!

Though Dad has already informed us that he is unsure of whether he can keep up with the monthly tuition payments, we heavily encouraged him not to pull Khloe from the program and asked that he give us time to do our best to find her a sponsor.

New Equipment Sponsorship–The 20ft Tumble Track

S.T.O.R.M Cheerleading has a new home–and we need new equipment!

For the past two seasons we were blessed to be sponsored by The Faith Center church where we hosted cheer practices, cheer camps, and FREE leadership development classes for all of our youth. Our program drastically grew during those two seasons and it became a must that we secure a larger location to facilitate our growing team of youth.

We are finally in our own outreach center, inTucker, just three miles from The Faith Center.

Expectedly–we have way more overhead expenses and it has slowed our ability to purchase new cheer and tumble equipment.

Of course, we are making use of what we have to the best of our abilities, however, we have to keep up with the advancing skills of our cheer girls. The new tumble track will enable youth to practice harder skills with less impact on their bodies.

S.T.O.R.M prepares girls for a successful and long-standing middle school, highschool and college career in the sport of cheer by providing them with expert-level coaching, training and equipment. Even more, we set them up for opportunities to receive scholarships and grant funding that could potentially cover the entire costs of their college education. So yeah, we take what we do seriously!
